About me
In 1968 I trained with Bill Hicks Theatre Director in Vancouver, in 1969 I trained in San Francisco with Del Close Theatre Director,in 1969 with Dave Ede Drama League England, in 1970 with John Elsom Theatre Director and Playwright.From 1970 I began directing my own theatre companies beginning with Natural Theatre Company, Mildenhall Fringe, Thin Air, Bristol Experimental Theatre Company and Motley Theatre Company. As a playwright I have written and directed all the work for these companies. From 1976 I was actively involved in running and setting up Youth Theatres and set up the National Youth Theatre Association. I have also set up numerous arts projects in different parts of the country including running two Arts Centres, one in Liverpool and thhe other in Bristol. I was chair of Fooltime the National Circus School and Chair of Liverpool Community Fringe. I also teach Arts Management and Theatre Arts and train actors.Additional skills:
