Set in a contemporary high octane culinary arena with a live audience, today’s first challenge is set by tough taskmaster, Rosemary, and designed to test the contestants' knife skills and sift out the disastrous from those with speed and skill. In a dramatic reveal with illuminating fine dining cloches hiding today’s ingredient for the chop, contestants lift and discover a set of ripe tomatoes.
