About me
Shane is an actor, musician, singer and accomplished voice over artist.His most recent theatre credits include lead roles in ‘The Proposal ‘and ‘The Bear’ by Anton Chekhov and Shakespeare in the Park Productions of ‘Taming of the Shrew’ where he played Baptista Minola ( to critical acclaim from Sunday Indendents’ Theatre critic Emer O’Kelly) and ‘Measure for Measure –Ireland 2016’ in which he played the roles of Duke Vintentio / The Friar.
On television he most recently appeared in the TV3 soap ‘Red Rock’, he also starred in Genefiles’ IFTA winning historic docu-drama ‘Cumann na mBan 100 ‘ for TG4.
He has appeared in lead roles in numerous shorts, most notably ‘3 Friends’ based on a Colm Tobin short story, which scooped the Grand Prize Alternative Spirit Award (LBGTQ Short) at the Rhode Island Film Festival 2016.
He is an accomplished voice over artist with many credits to his name including voicing a documentary on the demise of Ireland’s iconic department store Clerys.
