About me
I am a creative born and bred out of Manchester. I am energetic and charismatic performer who always loves learning new skills and taking deep dives into roles. I consider myself flexible and malleable and feel equally at home playing geeks, freaks, upstairs, downstairs, smart or silly, and everything else.Acting experience:
I'm an experienced and capable comedic performer, having played in improv comedy troupes, done stand up comedy, developed my own opening act for a show, and acted in comedic roles. I have also a wealth of experience in more dramatic roles, including playing a grieving boyfriend in Waiting for Spring (Edinburgh Festival 2017) .
Additional skills:
I received training in everything from radio and camera technique to classical vocal training for stage via drama school, so I'm happy to be dropped into any situation and confident I'd be a great asset to any company.
I play the guitar to a high standard, particularly skilful at finger style folk songs, but I'm capable with any style. I can accompany myself on the harmonica and I have a working knowledge of the piano and bass guitar.
Industry awards:
I was chosen to perform in the Sam Wannamaker Festival 2016 at Shakespeare's Globe where I played Viola from Twelfth Night. This was an incredible learning experience and gave me valuable skills to put towards my work in Shakespeare and beyond.
