About me
Antoinette has worked in theater and film for many years; her most recent performance was in the play Doubt where she played the mother of an alleged abused child, Mrs. Mueller, at the Theatre Memphis. Also, Antoinette has been cast in the play entitled Calendar Girls at the Bartlett Center for the Performing Arts that goes up in May 2019.Antoinette is a native New Yorker who moved to Atlanta, Georgia and then later to Memphis, Tennessee. Antoinette started working as an “extra” actress for Georgia Public Broadcasting and then as a “stand-in” actress for Tyler Perry’s House of Payne. While going on auditions and working a full-time job, Antoinette started working on her bachelor’s degree in video production at the Arts Institute of Atlanta and while attending AIA, entered in the Campus Movie Fest competition as a producer for a student short film entitled “The List” – this film would be nominated as student best comedy film!
Antoinette moved to Memphis in 2011 and upon her arrival, not knowing anyone in town, reached out, and was cast in, Memphis Action News 5 “Go for the Gold” commercial as an automobile winner. Antoinette has worked on several independent film projects “The Cellular Effect” and “Crest Life”; student films “Dirty Money” and “Encounter of the Mistaken Kind”; and various Cinemax and HBO film projects “Uncorked” and “Quarry”.
Besides acting or working with her acting coach, Corey Parker, Antoinette enjoys spending time with family, reading and watching anything that relates to acting, and going to the gym on a regular basis. Antoinette believes that working out truly releases all of the days anxieties and allows the brain to relax and then come up with solutions that wouldn’t show up otherwise.
