About me
The films, voice over work and theatre work I have been involved with have received excellent reviews, such as this, "She captivated the audience with a passionate, energetic and moving performance for 75 minutes ! Carole is a fabulous voice-over artist - professional, considerate and a delight to work with. I highly recommend her and hope to work with her in the future".The break in the timeline of my CV is simply due to the years I have spent founding and curating Prague Fringe Festival www.praguefringe.com in Czech Republic
I was employed frequently for female leads in Tyne Tees Television productions over the 1990s. I understand the genre, how to get the shot required by the director in quick time - I listen and am focussed on the requirements of the whole as well as my own performance.
It is time to re-launch my career in film/television, clearly no longer in the role of young lead (!), but in character roles for someone "approaching the foothills of middle age" (mother, business women, doctor etc)
I don't think I'll ever be cast as a career villain, but I can portray a steely side as well as a light side. I have a look which is suitable for period as well as contemporary characters.
Additional skills:
Strong mimic
Sight Reader
Excellent Comic Timing
Ad libbing
