Highlights
-
I was on half of the Essex Girls glam
Squad on Gok Wan's Made Over By for channel 4. I am naturally funny and will work to a brief. -
Acting has long been a passion of mine. I am an enthusiastic and determined performer. I have professional experience in musicals, panto and plays and have performed in a number of theatres. I have since made the progression into TV work, most recently filming for a new tv sitcom and and stablished webseries where I have ongoing work. I feel comfortable around the camera and I would like to do feature film work.
I attended the Actors Temple which adheres to the techniques taught by Sanford Meisner, I have also done a screen acting course at the City Academy. In addition I have done theatre training at the Queens Theatre in Hornchurch and the Theatre Royal Stratford East.
Recent Theatre review for Calendar Girls by Jan Palmer Sayer;
This was delicious. From the opening moments where the character was quaffing her vodka during the t’ai chi through the entire wardrobe of shoes and outfits to the triumphant pose with the cakes and the bellowing “Get him in here”, we were delighted. You turned her into a wholly believable and very lovable character and you have a super voice, face and range of delivery. The physicalisation of Celia tottering around on impossibly high heels will live with me for a long while.
