About me
Elizabeth was born in Lisbon in 1989 to English parents. Since her father is a musician and her mother is an actress, she has been involved in the arts from a very young age and started acting when she was 11. She studied at St. Dominic’s International School in Portugal and completed the International Baccalaureate there in 2007. As well as theatre, she studied the cello and played in the Symphonic Youth Orchestra from 2003 to 2008. Before moving to London in September 2008, she took a gap year in which she directed Chekhov’s The Bear, assisted English teaching at a Portuguese primary school, and had lessons in ballroom dancing and singing, amongst other things. In 2011, she completed a degree in Drama and Theatre Arts from Goldsmiths College, University of London. Last year, she participated in a workshop on ‘The Method’ with Marcia Haufrecht and Bruno Schiappa. She is bilingual and has performed in Portugal,England and at the Edinburgh Fringe. Her recent roles include Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, Irina in The Three Sisters, Mademoiselle in The Provoked Wife, Ginny in Relatively Speaking and Mollie Ralston in Agatha Christie's murder mystery The Mousetrap. Last year she performed on stage in Portuguese for the first time in the première of Até Amanhã by A. Branco.
She also uses her acting skills in voice-overs and corporate videos, among other things.
