About me
Florence studied BA Acting at the Northampton School of the Arts. She has played a range of roles covering many styles of theatre. Some of her musical theatre rolls include Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors, Miss Hannigan in Annie and Roxy in Chicago. Florence has also played Viola in Twelfth Night as well as the Nurse in Romeo and Juliet, directed by Emily Jenkins. She was part of the devising process of a postmodern piece basted on the play 4.48 Psychosis by Sarah Kane as well as directing a short play called Collision. Florence played the part of Penny in Shrapnel a devised piece directed by Stewart Melton. Florence played Kramer in Vinegar Tom that ran for a week at The Royal and Derngate, directed by Emily Jenkins.Recently Florence has worked with Frantic Assembly and Dance Umbrellas as a part of their ensemble piece titled ‘Everything that rises must dance’, directed by Sasha Milavic Davies . Florence was a Prop Designer for a production of Mariage Blanc in Peckham at The Asylum Chapel and took on role of marketing assistant for Bobby and Amy by Emily Jenkins for its most recent run at The Vaults Festival.
