Highlights
-
From 14 Jack performed in a repertory theatre company, staging comedies, murder mysteries and pantomimes throughout the year in Cheshire. This encouraged him to pursue acting in school, and his performances attracted interest from local theatre companies and writers. Before leaving school Jack has performed on large stages around Merseyside, and continued his training at Liverpool John Moore’s University.
Jack’s University studies saw him experiment with various artistic roles including script-writing, film making, stand-up comedy, theatre technician, director etc, but found him ultimately focused on acting. However his experiences in other fields has enriched his acting due to a better awareness of their individual styles.
Since graduation Jack has worked for various TIE companies as an actor and workshop leader, whilst also finding professional acting work in the North-West. He is a member of Tell Tale Theatre Company, whose production of The Crucible (in which he played the lead) was one of The Liverpool Echo’s cultural highlights of the year. He has basic stage and film combat training, experience as an extra, professional theatre and musical theatre acting work, and has developed a reputation for playing complicated, naturalistic characters. Jack is a dedicated, punctual, intelligent actor who will commit to any project he is a part of.
