Singer:
James is a classically trained baritone singer from Berkshire and has recently graduated from Royal Birmingham Conservatoire under the tutelage of Gordon Sandison. He has extensive and varied performance experience in opera, oratorio, musical theatre, song and film.
Whilst at conservatoire James won the Winifred Micklam Prize and 2nd Prize in both the Edward Brooks English Song Prize and the Cecil Drew Oratorio Prize.
James has a strong interest in film and is currently working on building a project of his called 'Singers Eye', which aims to show what a singer sees in their mind whilst singing song repertoire to the audience through the medium of film; which accompanies live performance. James had a successful and well received first performance of these songs with film in April 2018, and is already planning the future of this venture.
