Jason Croot played the more intimidating and quiet of two members of a terrorist group based on the 1970's German teh SLA/Bader Meinhoff gang in my film Inbetween. He did an exemplary job and impressed me at every level. In preparation I had him watch Ingmar Bergman's film "The Magician" in which Max Von Sydow says almost nothing for the first 60 minutes. This was because his role involved a great deal of silent presence. His acting as I have seen it has a very strong kind of Al Pacino or Sean Penn kind of aggressiveness with a touch of European refinement. He has a distinctive look and powerful physique and a noticeable sensitivity under the intensity. He pulled off the role well as he was able to command a presence, which is quite rare. He also executed his fight scene very well. As an actor he is very easy to work with and is a team player in the true sense of the word.
