About me
I am an actor and writer from the Peak District, growing up just on the outskirts of Sheffield. At Durham University I was heavily involved in the Drama Society and went on to work professionally as an actor after graduating. Over the last four years I have been in only three works – however all have been long and fulfilling projects; In 2014 I appeared as Prospero in The Three Inch Fools production of The Tempest, which toured Northern England and Scotland. This production was revived in April 2015. The Druid’s Horse, a 45-minute radio monologue which I wrote and performed, was produced by Roundhouse Radio (May 2016) and won the Roundhouse Radio’s ‘Best Celebration of the Arts’ award. Since July 2016 I have starred as Karl Elliasberg in Raving Mask Theatre’s The Conductor which has toured the UK and Europe extensively over the last two years and is set to return to Italy for the second time this November (2018.) Working on this production directed by Jared McNeil (Peter Brooks’ Company) taught me the value of stillness and presence on stage, of listening and of breaking rhythms, of bringing your humanity to the stage and allowing yourself to be vulnerable.License & Passport
