About me
My biggest passion is acting, it's the only thing I can see myself doing. After 3 years of Drama at Liverpool John Moores University, acting is definitely the right path for me. Although I am also trained in all areas of stagecraft as well as have gained a lot of experience in directing and television/film crew work, acting is what I want to persue. I am a very outgoing and fun person to work with. I love being part of a team and will make the most of any situation. I am a hard worker and take well to direction and criticism. I can work within a range of genres from naturalistic to comedy to surrealism. I have a good ear for accents and I am willing to try any type of role.Skills

Highlights
-
I studied up to grade 5 in ballet and grade 4 in tap at Julie Whitehead's School of Dance in Port Sunlight. I also have performed as a dancer in many musicals and pantomimes that cover both genres of dance and more.
-
I have recently graduated with a BA(Hons) Drama at Liverpool John Moores University. During University I took on a variety of roles, studying Artaud Theatre of the Absurd, Brecht, Physical Theatre, Children's Theatre, Musical Theatre, TV Drama, Naturalism and Comedy. Acting in such a wide spectrum of theatre as well as television series has broadened my capabilities as an actress. I am more than willing to take on any role and play it to the best of my ability.
My most challenging role in University has been my last performance in the play, Forever and Anon. I played the lead Karen in this piece of new writing drama, a woman struggling to get to grips with her grief and confusion of her past, an overlapping of different times of her life all to finally conclude with what's really happened to her. A very challenging role however I received very positive reviews and feedback.
I have a wide variety of experience in musicals playing lead principle roles as well as chorus, dancer and backing vocals, such as;
Fame the Musical - Serena
High School Musical on stage - Gabriella
Little Shop of Horrors - Ronette
Footloose the Musical
The Wiz
Disco Inferno
I have worked in many theatres, my most recent performance was within the Playhouse Theatre, Liverpool on the Titanic Takeover project, acting in four shows back to back in one day. A great experience and a chance to work with some amazing people. I have also performed in shows on the Liverpool Empire, Gladstone Theatre and the Floral Pavilion in New Brighton.
I work a lot with children, volunteering at a Local Theatre Group Raise Your Voice and on many occasions in Our Lady's St Edwards Primary School in Birkenhead. I run Drama workshops, experimenting with acting, music, dance and comedy. This is a big passion of mine and a very fulfilling experience. -
My vocal range is comfortable at F3 to F5, I could however push further if needed with rehearsal.
