About me
During May 2016 I created a project with my theatre company (Nonsens!cal Theatre). The Project was called 100, Acre Wood and was devised piece of comedic theatre con temporising the A.A. Milne classic Wine The Pooh it was performed at the Looking Glass Theatre as part of the Northampton Flash Festival 2016In December 2015 I performed in the devised production of An Evil Gathering of Infidels, directed by Kristoffer Huball. Portaying Nikolai Yezhov, An Evil Gathering of Infidels is based on the life of Russian poet/writer Daniil Kharm which used physical techniques of clowning and physical theatre. It was performed in Isham Studios at the University of Northampton.
In November 2015 I devised a TIE shakespeare performance with a newly formed company Extract Theatre. Based on the Jacques speech the seven ages of man starting "All the world’s a stage, And all the men and women merely players;" We broke up the text using extracts of other Shakespeare plays such as, King Lear, Merchant of Venice, Romeo and Juliet and The Winter's Tale. We used these extracts to show the different ages of man. We took the performance to Banbury and Biscester College with a fully formed workshop to help the students with the text.
In May 2015 I played Sir Hugh Evans in a performance of Shakespeare's Merry Wives Of Windsor, directed by Emily Jenkins in the Underground stage at The Royal and Derngate Theatre.
I have been of the Milton Keynes Theatre Youth Theatre in which we performed the greek play Lysistrata and a piece of drama created by Ursula Rani Sarma titled The Ripple Effect as part of the London Festival 2012 performing in Milton Keynes Theatre on 29th July.
In 2011 I was part of another project at the Milton Keynes Theatre, called Stage Experience in which we performed a full scale production of West Side Story directed by Polly-Ann Tanner. In this production I played the part of A - Rab.
In 2012 I took part in Stage Experience again as I love the atmosphere it created and I love the hype of acting on stage in front of a live audience. That years performance was Guys and Dolls at the Milton Keynes Theatre an I played the part of Harry the Horse a gambler. This was a very good experience and has propelled/motivated me to go on to become a more advanced actor.
