About me

Lizzie Hemmings previously known as Rachel Childs is a versatile Actor. Having graduated from the Birmingham Theatre School with numerous roles under her belt she has gone on to add various roles to her repertoire.
Having performed in short films and also Television work.
She has has experience of Set Building , Props Master, Costume. Mime, Puppetry and Makaton Signing. She is DSB Enhanced Checked. Trained to run and has experience of running Workshops and Improvisation. Sight reading and re - direction she rises to the challenge.
She reads/Writes music and is a trained singer. Singing 2 Bs bellow middle C - 2 Dbs above middle C. Belt to C above middle C. And for the last several years has been a singer in various venues in corporate events.
She has worked in Special Needs hence using Makaton Signing and has performed numerous Skin Costume Characters and Puppeteer. She has a flair for comedy/comic timing. Directing , Stage Management , Role Play, Hot Seating, Marketing/P.R. all add to her Resume.
She attended BBC Casting Workshops, including Radio Drama Workshop with Sir Peter Leslie Wild (BBC Radio Drama)

Has also branched out into the stand up world, writing and performing her own original material.

Previously trained as a Microbiologist. Has worked in Reception areas, Front Of House and Customer service.
