About me
I received the Dance & Drama Scholarship Award to train for 3 years in Acting at ALRA Drama School.I won ‘Best Supporting Actor’ Award for my role in the film ‘Home’ directed by Debs Gardner=Paterson. I have worked with many directors most notably Ken Campbell in ’Shall We Shog?’ for Shakespeare’s birthday celebrations at The Globe Theatre. He also invited me to be part of a series of performances called 'Decor Without Production' at The Royal Court Theatre as part of their 50th birthday celebrations. I was selected to be part of the first London ‘Improvathon’ a revolutionary 36 hour improvisation at The Inn on The Green, Portobello, under the impro master, Dana Andersen. I worked with Anne Bogart in Viewpoints and Suzuki in Saratoga Springs. I have workshopped with Katie Mitchell, RSC, Frantic Assembly, Peter Brook, Told By An Idiot and Fleur Darkin.
I have played leading roles such as Catherine in 'Wuthering Heights', directed by Helen Tennison for a London and mid scale UK tour. I have played numerous female leads including Portia (Merchant Of Venice), Titania (A Midsummer Night’s Dream), Lady Macbeth (Macbeth), Helena, (A Midsummer Night’s Dream), Gertrude (Hamlet), Shen Teh, (The Good Person Of Szechwan) and Hecuba (Hecuba).
I have collaborated, devised, performed and produced my own work at prestigious venues such as BAC, The Arcola, The Blue Elephant, The Courtyard, St Joseph’s Hospice and The Wellcome Trust.
