About me
A British actress who has just finished 3 years of training at the Arts University Bournemouth, a Drama UK recognized school.Lydia has studied a wide variety of Theatre styles and has gained skills in many areas; from Shakespeare to Greek Chorus to Bouffant.
Alongside devising and creating new theatre on her course, she was able to work on short student films with the Film Productions course at the Arts University Bournemouth, which has an international reputation in the film business. Lydia has had a lot of screen experience and feels very much at home in front of a camera lens. Having completed the Acting for camera summer course at East 15 Drama School she knew that Film and Television was where she belonged.
Lydia is often cast in strong heroine type roles, but has been known to play the more vindictive and villainous characters. She finds people in general fascinating and enjoys exploring all different kinds of characters, especially ones that are conflicted and tortured-by-their-own-demons.
Lydia is a very active person and enjoys keeping fit and healthy; working and collaborating with new people, learning new things and welcomes a challenge. When she is not acting you will most probably find her reading one of Shakespeare’s plays, again. Or trying to catch a show at the Globe.
Additional information:
As well as exploring different kinds of characters, Lydia thoroughly enjoys roles with different accents and has a very good ear for accents. Her natural RP accent can transform to American-Calfornia, Australian-Sydney and many more.
