Highlights

I've been meaning to update/revamp my website for a while, and this morning I decided it was high time to do it! So here it is, with my projects, links, and work up-to-date!

Fantastic director Avery Erskine worked so hard to convert her version of Twelfth Night from the stage to an audio format! She came up with Twelfth Night: The Radio Show, and worked SO hard to edit it (100 hours of editing). It's chock-full of sound effects and gorgeous music that make you feel completely immersed in the play.
I'm honored to play the narrator (so I'm selfishly happy this became a radio show - otherwise I wouldn't have gotten to participate in this exciting 1950s adventure). Give it a listen here! https://lnkd.in/eEZFxNp -
I am so excited to have updated my modelling portfolio! Before, it was just a scattering of grainy stills from stage performances, but now that I have gotten to work with some fantastic photographers, I've assembled a professional portfolio. https://maille-rosesmith.com/model-portfolio
HOORAY! -
I am overjoyed to sign with JST Model Management, based in New York!
From their website: "We’re a non-traditional boutique talent agency that specializes in talent that’s BOLD. Vibrant. Confident in who they are, and what they offer. You’re seeking something different. Something you can’t quite put your finger on, but you know what you’re looking for." -
I am so honored to have won the Pettway Prize in Drama!
From the website: "In 1980, Sam established the William D. Pettway Prize in Drama at the University of Virginia, awarded each year to fourth-year students who have made distinctive contributions to the University’s drama department, among the early student winners: Tina Fey, class of ’92." -
For my first New York Fashion Week, I walked for Argenis (a luxury couture fashion brand based in New York) in a charcoal two-part coat, a mesh feather-beaded top, and silver beaded pants.
I had a wonderful time meeting brilliant, talented models, artists, and designers! -
I had the joy of starring in Caky Winsett's short comedy MR. PINKY, which premiered at the Players Theatre's LUV 2022 Festival and won "Best Play" for week two of the festival. I played Bella, a teddy-bear-loving young woman in her first queer relationship.
-
I'm so honored to have won the title of "Best Actress" for the Equity Library Theater of New York's Summer 2022 season! I performed the marvelous Brian Johnston's "Tell it Like it is Mary- Louise Brown" monologue.
