About me
I am an actor and Theatre-Maker based in the South-West.I run and perform in my own theatre company "PaddleBoat Theatre CIC" creating high quality family theatre and TIE workshops that perform across the UK.
I run weekly theatre workshops for children and young adults from a number of backgrounds, and have worked with companies such as: Doorstep Arts, TroubleMaker Theatre Company and Sunshine Drama School
I have lots of experience with corporate work, including medical care video's, business roleplay and safeguarding workshops.
I have access to a sound studio and am used to recording voice over work - I record a financial report weekly for a London based economics firm.
I have a rich speaking voice well suited to RP. I have a strong physical presence and pride myself on my comic timing.
I adore Shakespeare and language and enjoy playing with text and character.
I am incredibly devoted to performing in all its many shapes and forms and am driven to forge a more sustainable career in this field.
I am keen to gain experience in film and tv work as well as commercials.
Additional skills:
I am DBS checked, with a chaperones license and paediatric first aid training.
I can drive and own a car and a van.
I have a base in the home counties with easy access to London, and a base in York. I am willing to travel for work.
I can juggle and having a wealth of experience in clowning.
I am skilled with puppets and mime and have developed this through workshops with esteemed companies.
I am a baritone in my vocal range. I am level five on the saxophone and have access to an alto or a baritone. I am currently learning the accordion.
I have my BSL level one certificate and can sign to a basic level.
I have worked regularly with stage combat, hand to hand and sword, however I have no formal training in this.
