About me
I've always been a performer. My mother is a well-respected blues/country musician (singer/songwriter and lead electric guitar player), so I come by it honestly. I started singing and acting at age 2, yodelling along with Jewel and belting out Reba McEntire's "Fancy" in supermarkets. I moved on from country to musical theatre, in which I've been performing professionally since age 11. I graduated with honours from Lord Byng Fine Arts Mini School with a triple major in theatre, music and writing. I was then accepted into the University of British Columbia's Opera Performance program, which I graduated from in 2015.My performing career has afforded me with a wealth of diverse experiences. I've acted in grassroots original Canadian plays with Theatre in the Raw in Vancouver's downtown Eastside, performed in cathedrals across Britain and sung for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in a luxurious, if a bit tacky, ballroom. I've toured internationally, performing in New York City, Seattle, all across the UK, and Italy.
I'm now interested in pursuing my passion for performance further. I'm interested in any opportunities that will allow me to utilize my unique combination of skills to advance my performing career.
