About me
I have recently finished studying on the Acting Foundation Course at Rose Bruford College which I have found both inspiring and eye opening. On the foundation we focused on training methods by Stanislavski and Uta Hagen while also working on the Alexander Technique, voice, TV, mask, audition technique and text work. Previous to studying at Rose Bruford, I successfully completed the B-TEC National Diploma and B-TEC First Diploma in Acting with a triple distinction. Over the last couple of years I have spent the summer season working on a Super Yacht in the Mediterranean as a deckhand and steward which had its challenges, but traveling the world for free, meeting some extraordinary people and seeing some breath-taking scenery was an incredible life experience that has allowed me to grow into a more knowledgeable and well-rounded person. My passions include snowboarding, tennis and football of which I play regularly for a local team.Skills

Highlights
-
I have performed with a variety of theatre companies including professional work with the National Theatre, High Tide Theatre Company, Theatre Royal Norwich and the Maddermarket Theatre as well as amateur work with Norfolk Young Musical Theatre and the Garage Norwich.
Some of my most notable work has been with these companies, most recently playing the part of Silvius in As You Like It, which ran for two weeks in April. Working on a Shakespeare production was hugely educational as it gave me the chance to develop my understanding of the language while also being able to explore and play with my own character, not to mention learning to work through a long run of performances. I was fortunate enough to be selected to form a company for a joint touring project between the National Theatre and High Tide Theatre Company, which toured around Norfolk and Suffolk. The show was called The Reprobates and was a new script written by Phil Porter and directed by Joe Douglas. During the rehearsal period we were lucky enough to have Phil Porter working alongside us which gave a new element to our rehearsals as we were able to ask the writer direct questions referring to the script and any character questions we might have. During the tour we were faced with a variety of venues from theatres to village halls, so it was crucial that we were adaptable in our performance to be able to accommodate the space that was given to us.
I have also had experience working on film sets most recently working on a project called Rivercross which was a short film direct by Darren Rapier and in the past I have done projects for student films and educational films for Norfolk County Council but also working on a number of feature films as an extra.
