Highlights
-
Please see the 'Experience' section for more extensive information of acting roles, in both film and theatre, which I have undertaken in the past.
I have performed at a wide range of venues in many types and styles of performance. In addition to all of the acting work in which I have been involved, I have also obtained a First-Class degree in BA (Hons) Drama, and achieved an A-Grade at Performing Arts A-Level. When not performing as an individual, I am part of a theatre group called The Dorothy Key, made up of myself and six other colleagues. We often devise theatre work and adapt existing plays, all of which we have performed in several different venues.
The highlights of my acting career include performing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in addition to Newcastle's Northern Stage Theatre on four seperate occasions. I have acted in four films and have played a large amount of lead roles in various productions. Some of the more famous plays in which I have acted include 'The Caretaker', 'Animal Farm', 'A Clockwork Orange', 'Much Ado About Nothing' and 'Attempts on Her Life'.
I have also worked with youths in helping them to develop their own acting abilities. I have worked for the Performing Arts school 'Stepping Out' and directed short pieces of drama at Cramlington High School. I have also successfully directed and written many other pieces of drama (both film and theatre) and have experience in stage management.
I have extensive experience in both acting and directing, and am versatile in adapting to any part or role. I have been very successful in all projects in which I have been involved, with much positive feedback, and am eager to try out any role in the future.
