About me
I'm a performer/actress with a background in dance/movement and am a very experienced singer with an ongoing comedy/music alter-ego I perform regularly as at all kinds of events, and make my own work for, however I'm much more versatile than that one character.Skills

Highlights
-
Artistic modelling for artist/photographer Nazare Soares, including a photo' that was part of the Ideastap Magnum Award exhibition Nazare was shortlisted for a few years back. Also I've done similar types of long exposure photography modelling (Nazare's style) for a Sony Ericsson shoot in the past. Also the stop-motion short films I co-devised and performed in were stills photography modelling (although a different kind) for modern furniture company Xobo Furniture, with filmmaker Dan Childs

I have just finished playing Sheila Wendice in Dial M for Murder in Eastbourne, the production went really well. and I've also quite recently appeared in a local promo' film video that's currently doing the rounds (online, and as part of the ad's cycle at the Duke of Yorks cinema)
I have a music/comedy alter-ego I have performed/gigged as for several years, a long term project, and we put on our first Brighton Fringe show this time (it sold out most nights which was great, and our audiences enjoyed the show immensely, the show is called 'Diva of Disaster' and we've just performed a slightly newer version of it at the request of the same venue we used for Fringe. I play the main role (Marianna Harlotta) in it, along with a violinist and a comedy 'saboteur' character from La Harlotta's past...and an owl. As the character Marianna Harlotta I have performed at music/arts festivals, both pop-up and onstage, comedy nights and run my own events. Last year we did a recital on a barge for Leeds Waterfront Festival. The character is of course an acting role as well as a singer. I have been acting since I was very young, from school plays to the Edinburgh Fringe, I have lots of experience as a singer and dancer also, but have always loved to act. Both my BTEC course and my BA Hons course were performance based (Performing arts, then performance studied, which was devising based but completely performance orientated) In recent years I have been in music video's, short films (which I've both been cast in or devised as part of a team) I have also performed in theatre (Brighton Fringe and other contexts) and I annually do patient roleplay work at medical schools, so I'm used to varied formats as a performer.
