About me
Hi my name is Shiva Gupta and I am 15 years old. I really enjoy acting and take any opportunity given to me to act and try my best. I am very sociable. I think it is key to be a social person as you can interact with others well and get along. I am also very hard-working, meaning I'll work to my fullest ability to get the job done and thrive to be the best. I think also I can interoperate my personal life into my acting. I feel like the way I grew up and my family gives me the urge to act and I can use a lot of things I've learnt in life to show I'm Bright and bold.Skills

Lyric Hammersmith Theatre:
My first project, called 'Future Fest' was over two weeks where I got to devise into groups and produce a unique piece of theatre about the black community and the history of carnival. I got to dig deep into my emotional side and really show another side to me as an actor.
My secound project, called 'The interventionists" there was also a two week course where I got to partner up with some other incredible actors and mix script work with some improvisation. This let me work with a live audience and showed me a different prospective of drama. During this time I was also invited to take part in voice overs for 'Bugsy Malone' which was their west end production at the time.
My third and most enjoyed project I have done there was called 'Don Quiote'. In this I got a main role and really had to work hard to understand the character I played with the script/dialogue given and develope a relationship with the other characters. This really put me to the test and took course over a long and fun four weeks.
At the moment I am currently not doing and projects at the lyric, but will be at the earliest opportunity given to me. I am however taking acting classes there (Studio intensive) where we're working around the topic 'home'. I am also working with an amazing director who keeps it interesting but also pushes us to be the best we can be, he likes us to play the truth of the reality and wants everything we do to feel real. This means I'm always on my feet and working hard.
School:
I have participated in a number of school plays and each one has been different in there own way.
-Great Expectations
-Its a wonderful life
-The inspector
-The not so big bad wolf
My school lessons are also very helpfull to my experience as an actor as it covers all emotions in drama which I can express. With amazing teachers who always try to get the best out of me I'm constintly learning and developing my skills.
