Allison Byrne
Allison commenced her professional career aged eighteen, after years of formal training in the disciplines of ballet, tap, jazz, singing and drama.
She played the lead role of Grace "Lambchops" Lamb in "FAME-THE MUSICAL" which successfully toured Australia and Asia throughout removed and was then invited to move overseas and take on the lead role in "THE PHANTOM" at "IGORS", Singapore's most popular comedy venue.

On television Allison played the on-going role of Megan Townsend in "NEIGHBOURS", Nicole Parker in "BLUE HEELERS", Avril in "STINGERS" and Suzie in the late night ABC-TV sketch comedy series "FLIPSIDE". Among her television commercial credits she is most remembered as the disgruntled girlfriend in the award-winning campaign for TXU Energy entitled "Indecent proposal".

For the past decade Allison has toured Australia performing in numerous children's pantomimes including: "CINDERELLA", "GOLDILOCKS" and "ALICE IN WONDERLAND". She has also performed in a number of successful seasons at Jeremy Kewley's "Hunchbax Theatre Restaurant". Her film credits include the feature "CRAZY RICHARD", and short films: "DADDY'S BOY", "DUPED" and "KING HIT" for Tropfest 2001. In 2004, Allison played multiple roles in the play "DEAD TRAGIC" at Theatreworks, St Kilda.

In 1997 Allison completed a Bachelor of Arts (Media) degree at Deakin University, which lead to the formation of her independent production company "Greenman Pictures". GP produced and filmed the hilarious 2003 Tropfest entry "ROCKSTAR", corporate/training videos, film-clips, live events, concerts and filmed the ratings winner for Network Ten "YOUNG TALENT TIME TELLS ALL". She also worked as a cameraperson for Optus Vision and Channel 7's "AM ADELAIDE".

Allison is currently performing cabaret at "Draculas" - Melbourne, in their new show "Beasts of Burlesque" for Newman Entertainment.
