Katherine M Tucker is an enthusiastic and professional stage and screen actor, who brings a vibrant energy to set whilst also maintaining her down-to-earth nature. Hailing from Australia's beautiful island state, Tasmania, Katherine has trained and worked around the world, from Melbourne, to Los Angeles and England.
Katherine brings a unique life to her characters, both on stage and on the screen, and is playful, bold and brave in her exploration and execution. Known as a "very giving actor" by those who have performed alongside her, Katherine uses her technical training and innate empathy to make truthful connections and bring to life the stories she is helping to tell. She is also known on-set for her inherent friendly character towards all cast and crew, and strongly believes in the cohesive and cooperative nature of production work.
Additional skills:
Katherine's qualifications/training and skills include professional swimming, basic horse riding, basic stage combat, knitting, theatrical make-up, dramaturgy and writing.
She is very confident and willing in developing further skills required for her roles and characters.
Katherine also works part-time as a script doctor and editor for upcoming TV shows and films, including the series 'Dredgewood' and film 'Our Home', both with projected release dates in 2020.
