About me
BIG, bubbly and quick witted. Great for comedy, but can do straight or completely unhinged. I sing, in a range of styles and can interview or present. Can create a range of characters and voices. Most recently I had a supporting role in 2 episodes of Broken and a featured role in an Advert for Thomas Cook airlines as Lindy a married Tourist. I appeared in series 2 of Sky 1`s acclaimed comedy `Trollied`. I played Rachel, a domineering wife. I thoroughly enjoyed this comic cameo role.
I have played a range of roles in local /professional theatre, most notably, in the chorus of Sweeney Todd, Octagon Bolton June 2011. I also take part in light opera and choral works. I have had lead and minor speaking roles in a number of short films/TV pilots.
I also have a base in the North East.

Highlights
-
I did some modelling in my twenties but am essentially an actor. I am a larger lady but have an excellent face with lots of character and good hands.
-
Most recently I had a featured role as a married Tourist Lindy for Thomas Cook Airlines.
I had a featured role in `Trollied` Series 2 for Sky 1, as Rachel, a domineering wife.
I have completed two comedy shorts with Eyeworks TV for BBC Online. I had a featured role in one of these pieces. This will hopefully become a series. Prior to that I completed ` Mine`s a double` a short comedy film in which I played the main role of Mystic Mary, a real but slightly uncontrolled psychic.
Please see video section I have also recently had two speaking parts in Short films/TV pilots. The first for Dave Spikey in his directorial debut in award winning `Buzz Dish` which premiered at the Co-filmic Festival, Manchester in Nov. The second is in `Safe` a teen drama in which I had a larger speaking role as Mrs Smith, a college tutor. I also appeared in Bolton Octagon`s production of Sweeney Todd in the chorus under the direction of Elizabeth Newman in June/July 2011. See the Stage`s crit here.

After many long years of Drama teaching I have retired (very early!) and am finally ready to leap and do what I love. I have also directed/played in a wide range of work from Willy Russell to Will Shakespeare.
I act and can create a range of characters and accents. I am probably most suited to comedy, but can do straight and can actually be quite frightening or menacing. I sing - alto, in various styles. Opera/church/soul/blues/pop.
Physically I am OUTSIZE, big and bouncy but not unfit and can dance. I am 5` 7" blue eyes and mid brown hair.
I have done a range of theatre, TV, Film and choral work, some radio presenting. If you need someone playing 45-60, I may be your woman!
