Reviews of "Quietly"
This is a play of remarkable intensity steeped in The Troubles that afflicted Northern Ireland for decades... Danan, constantly under attack from Lloyd’s gritty anger, listens and repeatedly tries to explain his own background and the inevitability of his becoming involved with the UVF. His pain is palpable, and his silences are full of haunting guilt. Broadway Baby ★★★★★
Nick Danan, stiller - though not always - is seeking redemption of some kind, but not the absolution of the Roman faith. Both performances are frighteningly plausible. Broadwy World ★★★★
Reviews of "The Turn of the Screw":
"Danan is mesmerising to watch" The Spy In The Stalls ★★★★
Deciding to reduce the story to two actors felt like quite a brave decision but, thanks to the quality of those actors, worked very well. Nick Danan, in the roles of The Gentleman, Mrs Gross and Miles, was really excellent in creating those three characters as sentient human beings merely by his voice and facial expressions. London Theatre 1 ★★★★
Reviews of "When The Fallen Sang":
"Nick Danan's impossibly charismatic performance" One Stop Arts★★★★
"Danan stood out the most in his roles throughout the play, slipping into each character confidently and naturally" Everything Theatre★★★★
"Nick Danan is electrifying" Remote Goat ★★★★
Reviews of "Macbeth":
"The best version of Macbeth I have been lucky enough to see, even beating The Royal Shakespeare Company hands down...Nick Danan as Macbeth was exceptional" Herald Express
★★★★★
"Shakespeare comes alive when he speaks it...a physical and passionate actor Danan seems to talk to individuals in the audience" Buxton Festival Review★★★★
"Nick Danan's Macbeth is particularly strong-his pensive analysis of his desire and disgrace is hugely powerful" Fringe Guru ★★★★
Reviews of "Holding Hands at Passchendaele":
"The drama has a significant asset in Danan's intense, troubled performance as bundle of contradictions Willie." Time Out; "Christopher Birks and Nick Danan give beautifully matched performances, throughout both of them play every word as freshly thought" British Theatre Guide ★★★★
Review of "A Midsummer Night's Dream":
"Every Midsummer Night's Dream needs an alluring Puck, and in Nick Danan, the production has exactly that-he's confident on stage, yet with essential touches of eccentricty" The Stage
Review of "It's Enough to Believe You're in Danger":
"There's fine acting from Henry Goodman, Michael Colgan, Nick Danan and Brid Brennan" The Guardian ★★★★★
Reviews of "The Quare Fellow":
"The Quare Fellow demands an enormous cast, they are all wonderful" The Independent ★★★★★
"The strengths of the play are matched by those of Kathy Burke's fine production and the exemplary cast" Sunday Telegraph ★★★★
