About me
Nikolai Egel quickly developed the complexity and trademark wit that has been the benchmark of his music and acting. A chance meeting with African hip-hop legend Dedli Cii gave him the springboard to a big name in the Australian scene, and his career began to gain momentum, with a fresh perspective on hip-hop.Uniting with his longtime friend and mentor, Sam Paul, he was able to release his debut mixtape Rebel Without A Chance on independent hip-hop label Alcatrax records. With the first single, Sci-Fi Geek, receiving plenty of critical praise, the song gathered such a strong response that based on it he was shortlisted to be a contestant on Beauty and the Geek, although ultimately he did not appear on the show.
Nikolai then released an EP with Australian producer Charlie Tweaks, titled Call Me The Comedian; and recording a debut album, titled In Miracle World.
