Highlights
-
I've recently been published in the London based magazine, Eko Magazine. I was requested to write an article about the performance my theater company and I devised, called 'Come What May." This was a politically satired performance about Brexit. It utalized many different forms of theater, including absurdism. epic theatre, and physical theater. I discussed how political theater is necassary and vital to our growth as a society. Theater should be used as a tool for change.

I am so pleased to announce that I am currently devising a neo burlesque piece! Considering covid19, I have been out of practice for some time now, and it feels so good to be back in the studio creating theatre.
My goals for this performance are to highlight the complex relationship we, as a collective society, have with food, body image, and sex/pleasure. I want to reinvent what it means to be sexy, creating a space of acceptance for all different body types and eating habits. Eating is fun, beautiful, sexy, and a part of our everyday life! Let's - shall we say - "normalize eating"
I am working on this project with a small group of creatives. We hope to start a theatre company - creating a space for unheard voices and progressive theatre.
Due to covid19, this performance will most likely be streamed! Stay tuned for more updates!
