Highlights
-
I was a member of Macrobert Youth Theatre working with Gordon Barr and Ewan Cameron. More recently I became part of their young company, devising new work with Jenna Watt. I also participated in workshops with Vox Motus and Frozen Charlotte, enabling me to experience the development methods of theatre companies.
I spent a week at the International Schools Theatre Association, learning about Kabuki theatre with Mark Hill. I have had work experience with Johnny McKnight, shadowing him through his pantomime rehearsals. I also spent time with Gareth Nicholls while he was developing ‘The little boy that Santa Claus forgot’, watching a new show in its early stages and the way ideas are developed.
During summer 2014 I completed the Introduction to Actor Training at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Attending this course I met playwrights, current students and tutors and had the opportunity to ask questions and gain a better insight into the life style of trainee and working actors and received a higher B in the final exam.
Before the summer of 2015 I was the lead in my school show and received the Alex Harvey award for my contribution to the production.
I was cast in a supporting lead role in a short film project "Please Come Home", written and directed by Sean Young.
