About me
I've been acting since the age of fourteen and have been in various fringe plays. I studied at Merton College and the Holborn Arts Centre. Professional work has included voice-overs and extra work. Most recently in November 2011 I played David Scott-Fowler in Terence Rattigan's 'After The Dance' at the Charles Cryer Theatre in Carshalton, Surrey.Additional skills:
I made music in the early 90's (some experimental hip hop!) and have also deejayed extensively.
Additional information:
I started acting when in 1987 when I was fifteen. I took Drama at school which, at the time, wasn't savvy enough to qualify for GCSE status. My age group were the 'guinea pigs' for GCSE's but those who took drama were given the opportunity to take part in a TV and Theatre Arts course which began with learning basic TV skills and culminated with a project called Concepts Of Death which was performed at The Battersea Arts Centre in 1988.
After that I performed in A Doctor's Duty (also at the BAC) Teechers and Lysistrata. In the early 90's I joined a dramatic group ran by Gerry Nowicki and performed in The Glass House at the Polka Theatre, Wimbledon and the National Theatre for one night on the Olivier Stage. Following that I contacted Hanif Kureishi and got an audition for The Buddha Of Surburbia at the BBC. I took a break from acting to become computer proficient and have worked in finance ever since. Late 2009, I returned to acting and
to date, I have performed with Sutton Amateur Dramatic Club (one of the oldest in the world) in Hedda Gabler, When We Are Married, Glengarry Glen Ross and After The Dance. Myself and colleagues continue to work for SADC, but we have started our own company and hope to perform Yasmin Reza's The God Of Carnage sometime in 2013.
