Siho Ellsmore is a working actor and voice actor and writer with over 15 years of experience. She has worked in theatre, film and television in her home country of Australia and her current home New York City.
In Australia she appeared most notably in the longest running soap Neighbours. Siho has appeared on the New York stage with NAATCO, Ma-Yi, Target Margin, The Drama League, La MaMa, Ensemble Studio Theatre and the Actor’s Studio to name a few and made her off-Broadway debut in Jewtopia. She recently appeared in the World Premiere comedy The Future is Female at Flint Rep Theater for which she was awarded the Wilde award for best supporting actress..
Siho’s voice has been featured in videogames, animated series, commercials, radio, narration, audiobooks and more. Notable commercial clients include AIG, Hinge, Meta, Subaru, EA Sports, Apple, Bloomberg and many others. She has recorded animated series for Crayola and Mattel and her videogame work includes; Overwatch, Vampire: The Masquerade- Swansong, WO LONG: Final Dynasty, X-COM Legends, Live A Live, Mission US: Prisoner in my Homeland and Ghostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Lord.
As a writer Siho co-wrote and performed in Yellow Brick Wall: Angry White Men Played by Two Happy Asian Girls for the 2012 New York International Fringe Festival. She was a founding member of Leviathan Lab’s Asian American Women’s Writers Workshop. Her short play the Goddesses was performed as part of Asian American Heritage Month at Actors Equity. Siho is a recent graduate of the UCLA Screenwriting Professional Program.
As a filmmaker Siho has edited and produced the award winning short INS & Outs, Siho has also produced Red Phone Productions’ short The Barrelman Caper, she also co-wrote, directed and produced the short film Lady in Waiting an entrant in the 2014 AAFL 72 Hour shootout.
