About me
I have always been a creative individual so, since the university I started to study acting and thanks to many workshops that I attended I had the opportunity to explore different aspects of the theatre, not only in terms of performance but also in terms of organisation, production and administration.I am motivated, enthusiastic and hard-working individual with strong communicational and organizational skills. I have a proven track record working in the theatrical environment since I worked, in Italy, for the theatrical association “Teatro degli Specchi” for five years. I played an important role as Events planner and personal assistant to executive director, being responsible for the conception, realization and promotion of several theatrical seasons that involved international companies and Artists. I learned how to organize and manage the box office and the front of house staff, I was in charge of the bar cash handling, I ran shows and checked the theatre before and after the performance to make sure that everything is ready and safe.
Through those tasks I fostered my skills in customer service and communication as I was responsible front line to deal with customers’ needs in an efficient and friendly approach.
I dealt also with administration, accounting, communication with the several municipalities and ticket agents, organization and promotion of the association's events and workshops. Working both alone and as team member in such frenetic environment, allowed me to know how to manage different tasks at the same time in accordance with the deadlines.
During this job experience I worked also ad Stage manager and Assistant Director for different kind of shows, coordinating the artists and taking care their needs, researching and identifying stage's equipment, managing agreements with both public and private sector (i.e. council, schools and theatres) for performances.
In 2014 I worked as producer assistant intern for a production movie company in Poland because I took part of an european work project (Leonardo Project). I assisted the producer during the different phases of production, doing paperwork and working on the movie set.
Here in London I started with some volunteer position working in a museum, charity shop and some theatre.
One of my last role was as Front of House at the Cambridge Theatre where I worked for one year in an enthusiastic and busy environment, improving my knowledges in customer service, ushering and retail sale.
This experience increased my desire to develop my knowledge to work in the artistic industry.
I have excellent IT skills and a passion for Social Media, Marketing and Administration. I have a well-organised and methodical approach, a proactive and self motivated attitude, able to work under pressure. I am willing and enthusiastic about learning from any situation. I also tend to built good relationships with co workers at all levels as I enjoy working as a part of a team. I am endowed with strong computer skills, able to multi task and act quickly and decisively.
