About me
Early on in my music career, I discovered that I could combine my love of cinema with my love of music. Ever since graduating from Berklee College of Music with a degree in Film Scoring, I have been eagerly exploring the world of cinema and film music. More than anything else, I have an ardent passion for storytelling. Being a member of the music and sound team for cinema allows me to contribute all I can to each story. Whether it's composition, production, or sound design, I am committed to reaching the hearts and minds of audiences through the powerful narrative of cinematic storytelling.Art and emotional connection are some of the most powerful resources we have to combat a world with so much turbulence. As the film industry, in addition to the world, are nearly shut down, I have been energetically and safely working on media projects in the Los Angeles, CA area.
My music combines elements of orchestral, acoustic, and synthetic genres, creating a diverse soundscape that integrates seamlessly with any soundtrack. Whether it's composition or production, I aim to amplify the drama and create a captivating original musical score.

Industry awards:
Co-Composer for Cuban Earth (2020), directed by Melinda Levin. Cuban Earth earned one Silver and two Gold Telly Awards in 2020 for the Non-Broadcast division. Olson was part of a composer team under Soundtrack Supervisor and veteran film composer, Ruth Mendelson.
