About me

I am a BA (hons) film graduate with an unbreakable passion for storytelling. I specialise in creating character driven shorts about ordinary people with extraordinary potential.

With 5 years experience I have been making short films both as part of projects for courses I have taken and outside of education in my spare time.

I write, shoot and edit all of my films and occasionally collaborate with fellow creatives.

Some of the best experience I have gained over the years has been through volunteer work, In 2010 I organised a live event for Oxjam festival, I have also worked as a steward at film and music festivals and finally worked as a stage runner for the UK's largest Youtube event.

All of these roles have involved managing talent, fast thinking and communicating efficiently both with colleagues and members of the general public. This along with jobs working in guest services have highlighted my confident, positive attitude and great communicational skills. All of these skills are transferable and have made the filming process more fluid and manageable as I have gained experience.

My work is always changing, evolving. I experiment with different stories and am always reading or learning new fields of work. Most of my films represent some kind of moral story, they also deal with characters with tragic and extreme lifestyles.
I aim to provoke people emotionally with my work, I want my audience to pity, hate or laugh at my characters. I want to create an impression. Writing, storyboarding and concept work are my strong points as a film maker.
