About me

Mark has recently finished working on multiple projects with Sadler's Wells including their production of “Sutra” by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui as their Sound no 1. Over the past year he has completed a number of International, European and UK tours with them. He was also the Sound no 1 on the show “The Wider Earth,” the first theatre production to be held in the National History Museum in London.
As a freelance sound engineer, he has extensive experience of theatre work in the UK, Australia and the USA in addition to operating FOH/Monitors role for live music and corporate events. Mark is originally from the UK and is a graduate of Glyndwr University, where he studied Studio and Performance Technology. In between his time in the UK and the USA Mark toured with Co- Opera, delivering sound for their production of The Mikado around rural Australia whilst working on other projects.
Mark has toured with international bands throughout the UK, mixing stages at multiple events and festivals. He also held a residency as the Head of the Theatre Sound, at the prestigious French Woods Festival of the Performing Arts, a summer camp in Hancock, NY. Here he was responsible for running 5 theatres and teaching children technical theatre. Other highlights of his career to date include working with Broadway actors and musicians and having his work featured on USA national radio.
During this time, Mark has built up an enviable reputation as a skilful, reliable and highly competent sound engineer.
