Worked as Technical Director in Sky Channel Master Control Room. Responsible for technical aspects of a production such as sending Sky Racing feeds to pubs, clubs, NZ, Singapore, Hong Kong and UAE. Ensuring equipment ie vision switching and CCU camera operations are ready and technical checks completed before production begins. Assisting with equipment changes and modification e.g. hybrids, communication lines with hosts on location. Responding to equipment failure, last minute equipment changes and finding solutions. Integrating live track hosts, studio hosts, interviews, videotape playbacks, crossing over from track to track locations, audio and commercial break. Reporting hazards or incidents. Astro, Malaysia: Worked in Broadcast Operations. Duties included specification, purchasing and installing of technical equipment for 4 production control rooms and their studios. Trained and supervised the 20 staff and managed daily operations of the 7 production studios and the OB department. Managed the technical aspect of brand launch.
