True North has been making compelling, intimate, headline-grabbing and great-looking documentaries for the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Five since 2002.

We’ve brought innovation to Current Affairs with MacIntyre’s Big Sting, we’ve made fly-on-the-wall slick and compelling with Animal 24:7, we’ve told high-profile news stories from the inside, with Getting Away With Murder and Death of a Policeman, and we brought the extraordinary world of reborning to public attention with the highly popular My Fake Baby.

In 2008, we launched Sunday Life, our high-profile replacement for BBC1's Heaven and Earth; we were the only production company with access to the police investigation into back-from-the-dead canoeist John Darwin (One Man and His Canoe: The John Darwin Story); and we were ranked 16th in Televisual magazine’s Peer Poll – a survey of the most respected independent production companies in the UK.

We love what we do, we respect the people we work with, and we put money on screen.
