After a series of boundary tests and dominance issues, Acacia finds Nancy’s outlook on life and her opinions on killing and war intriguing. Acacia doesn't quite understand her thoughts, but is open to this ideal and becomes drawn to Nancy’s warmth like a magnet. Nancy becomes a confidant and inspiration to Acacia, forming a grandmother, grand daughter like relationship.
