A modern fairytale about a young girl obsessed with magic.

Poppy, a lonely young girl in a sleepy seaside town, is obsessed with conjuring and magic tricks. With a workaholic mother unable to give her the attention she craves, Poppy loses herself in her quest to become a master magician; her only audience are her cuddly toys, and a treasured ornamental snow-globe, a present from her absent but loving father. Dreaming of escape from her emotional solitude, Poppy begins to believe her magic skills may be more than an illusion. Is it merely wishful thinking, or does she really have a gift that will set her free?
