Sava and his son Ivan have a special relation. Sava lies to his son every day, to protect him of his real problems.

"Istina" (meaning ‘truth’) is a short film about Sava, a single father who lies to his son, because he feels intense shame. They are war refugees from Serbia living alone in Berlin. Sava used to be a police officer before he decided to flee Serbia in order to protect his son.
