Taboo is a VCA Graduating Masters of Directing Short Film written and directed by Olivia Altavilla.
Taboo is a social drama set in the late 70s, country Victoria. When Sofia, a curious 13 year old girl from a devout religious family discovers that the boy next door has been preyed upon by the priest of their local congregation, she must challenge her strict Catholic upbringing and convince her parents to see the evil hiding behind the good.
