Visually stunning, undeniably intense, the film tells the story of the Holocaust through a series of dark fairy tales...it is a dream like journey into the the noxious effects of racism and hate. The Girl Who Lived has been in production for over 6 years. It was initially a theatre show, which turned into a touring theatre production before finally being made into a feature film. Approximately 600 actors, crew, production crew and artisits have worked on the film as volunteers throughout its 6 year history.
