Three boys, two grow, one tries. Based on a thousand true stories, 'The Lost Choices' studies the effects of abuse in several forms with three lives. Without passing judgement, the film explores the destructive relationships between peers and the family. Once released from serving time in his adulthood, one boy aims to rehabilitate into soceity. Fighting personal problems, severe phobias, panic, depression, he finds comfort in an unlikely attraction and a persistent mentor. Letting a drug-habit spiral out of control, one boy loses grasp with reality and, once coupled with a family tragedy, channels his drug-induced fears into aggression, with only one target on his mind. Vying for love and acceptance but never gaining either it seems, one boy finally takes control over his life.
