There comes a time in every young boy's life when he needs to step up and be a man. For Michael, this came too soon.
On the day of his father's funeral, Michael has visions of his father which help him to cope with this trauma. As he begins to understand what it means to lose someone forever and what this means for his family he no longer needs those coping mechanisms. Michael steps up to take care of his mother and become the new man of the house.
