Personal Website

Angie Adler
Actor

Hi All,

I've had a personal website and domain name for years and have been wondering for many of those years if it's actually worth what I pay for it?

What's the general consensus? Do many of you have your own website or just rely on Spotlight, IMDb and social media?

New subscription is coming up, so I'm thinking about just ditching the website and keeping the domain so I can still use my personal email address.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Angie

Hi Angie.
I have a free website, using Wix. I get a certain amount of hits, but have never been contacted through it.
I think it's better to have one than not, though.

I have had work come through my website and as a multi-hyphenate it helps me keep all my career related news and examples in one place

Hi Angie,
I have had a personal website for four years (www.oliviahespe.co.uk). I can't say that I have had many requests for work directly due to the site, but I feel that it is useful to refer to the website when making applications, as generally a website can contain more information for an interested employer to consider.

I have a personal website. I use it mostly as a hub containing links to my various profiles, like social media, Mandy, Backstage, Star Now, IMDb, etc. It's easier to point people to AdamHawkins.uk rather than various URLs and usernames.
