About me
I have worked in radio for the last 18 years, carrying out both technical and creative tasks, working within broadcast engineering and producing trails, jingles and features within station sound. I want to branch out and work on different projects, dealing with sound editing/design and music composition. Prior to my years in radio, I spent some time working in the film industry and I am interested in returning to working on short film projects as well as other types of sound production/music composition work.Additional skills:
Piano Grade 8 (although now around Grade 6 standard), Clarinet player in past, teaching, Music and German degree, very good communication skills, good I.T skills and problem solving,
Industry awards:
2002: "Summer Games" nominated for Student Television Awards - sound design.
2003: UK Film Council ‘Digital Shorts’ commission - sound design.
Referees:
Mark Elliott - managing editor of BBC Radio Cumbria
Additional information:
I think it is important to talk through projects. People don't always suit projects and projects don't always suit people. Collaboration is usually key!
