AUSTRALIAN VOICES SOUGHT FOR ACCENT RESEARCH PROJECT

Are you interested in taking part in a paid accent survey?
SIDE is a global audio outsourcing company. We are currently working on a market research project for a client and we are looking for Australian nationals with the following accents and heritages to record a set of 10 lines for analysis:
- Sydney accent of European descent
- Melbourne accent of Greek descent
- Alice Springs accent of Indigenous Australian descent
- Torres Strait accent of Indigenous Australian descent
- Sydney accent of Lebanese descent
- Melbourne accent of Chinese descent
- Sydney accent of Chinese descent
- Perth accent of European descent
To qualify you must be a native Australian English speaker with one of the accents listed above. This means you naturally speak with that accent - we are not looking for people who can put an accent on. You will need a suitable smartphone to record your voice: iPhone 7 or above, Samsung S10 or above, or an equivalent other brand.
Participants must be aged 18 and above.
For selected participants, we will be offering $35 AUZ for your time - you will need a PayPal account for us to process this payment.
